Take Me Down To Your Paradise
It was rare for Nathan to ever leave the Titan stronghold, mainly because he didn't know for the longest time whether he was allowed to or not. He wasn't that naive anymore, thankfully. He felt like he was finally learning the ropes for the entire establishment. Granted, the rules and way of life was far more intimidating than he was accustomed to. Sure, back when live with mortals he was always seen as intimidating but now that he was surrounded by people more prominent and powerful than him, well, it made him like nothing. A nice pile of nothing just meandering around doing his own business. Yeah, his self confidence was up there. But you know, he would do something to prove himself, he was almost sure of it.He was just waiting for the prime opportunity of course. He couldn't do something that would fail or just turn him into a laughing stock.
He suppose that was why he was out here now. He mean that the camp full of demigods was around here somewhere.Okay, one of the camps, the joint one. The renegades would kill themselves off so he needn't worry about them. He didn't understand why people would choose to suffer in smaller numbers rather than team up. More numbers meant they were stronger, didn't it? Then again, there wasn't many titans out there but they were pretty strong. Stronger than stupid demigods. They though they were so high and mighty because their parents were gods and their parents are famous. It annoyed him. He wanted just grab the throat of a demigod and crush it, wouldn't be too hard, they were weak anyway. Have you ever looked into a myth and read about the gods? They were too benevolent, too kind, too well, he suppose selfish was a good enough word for it. They were egotistic, always demanding attention and demanding the desire of any man or woman who they deemed pleasing to look at. Such dogs.
He walked with his hands deep in his pockets as he headed in the direction he had been told lay the combined camp. He didn't really know what to expect. Would they question him? Would they know he really wasn't a demigod? Maybe this was a stupid idea of his, proving himself or not. Besides, he had plenty of time to turn back and he was still surrounded by people, the public. No one sane would attack here, even if the mist existed it was never good to tempt that, especially with rumors of how police were these days. Besides, Nathan didn't plan on getting into a fight today, it'd be too boring and obvious. Oh wow, a titan, lets fight him! Please, if it was night they wouldn't stand a chance. But of course, it was day and Nathan wouldn't put his money on himself to win the fight either. So he just walked, passing all the little shops and vendors on the street. He accidentally walked into one and half the display came crashing down but he didn't stop. After all, it was just an old woman screaming at him. She'd probably pass out from the yelling before she could really do anything and he didn't care about the cold looks he was getting form people who say.
